He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Thelma Vines Byrd and Monroe Taylor Byrd; his wife Maryanna Owen Byrd of Beaumont; his children, Eddie Byrd (Stephanie) of Springtown and Melissa McKague of Beaumont; his sister Barbara Owen (Katie Cook) of Cleveland; and his grandsons, Aiden McKague of Beaumont and Bret Rountree of Gladewater.
