Jerry C. Phillips Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry C. Phillips of Beckville, Texas, born in San Diego, California, who passed away on April 21, 2026, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Cliffie Estell Jones and Vernon Cleo Phillips; his siblings, Mary Estell Parrott, Peggy Nell Barnett, Vernon Clifton Phillips, Virginia Lois Lacey and Sylvie Jean Henry; and his daughter-in-law Ronna Phillips.

He is survived by: his wife Bonita Faye Bradshaw; his daughter Tammie Herndon (Brian) of Rockwall; his grandchild Lauren Alyse Sheppard (Jon Jr.); his great grandchildren, Kenley Alyse, Chloe Alexis and Graham Kirby of Whitehouse, Texas; his granddaughter Amy Elizabeth Sheppard (Matthew); his great grandchildren, Madison Kate, Emma Elizabeth, Eleanor Rose and Henry Matthew of Cypress, Texas; his son Jerry Marcus "Mark" Phillips; his grandchildren, Ashley Brett Bowen (Cody) of Gary, Erin Brynn Cohorst (Stacey) of Gary, Rhett Marcus of Gary and Kelly Phillips Wallace; his great grandchild Claire Alexandra Ward (John) of Arlington; his grandchildren, Virginia and Brice Everett Wallace of Arp, Texas; his son Chris White (Julie); his sister Cathy Ann Lawson (Ronald) of Winnsboro, Texas; his close friend Bettie Ross of Longview, Texas; his grandsons, Ryan Phillips, Rhett Phillips, Brice Wallace and Jacob White; his grandsons-in-law, Stacey Cohorst, Jon Sheppard Jr., Matt Sheppard, John Ward and Cody Bowen; and his caregivers, Melissa Thompson and Oleta Huett. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and his beloved church family.
