He was predeceased by : his mother Glenys McKell; his grandparents, Micheal, Marjorie Christensen, Heber and Cornelia McKell; and his nephew Kevin Rich.

He is survived by : his father Lynn McKell of Tulsa, Oklahoma.; his wife Shea McKell of Bedford, TX; his children, Zane McKell and Maisie McKell; his stepdaughter Kelsi Wilson; his siblings, Gary McKell, Lynda Rich, Lisa Poling, Lori Smith, Janet Shafizadeh and Julie Willard; and his grandchildren, Karson, Kayden McKell, Marilyn, Marlowe and Millie Wilson.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lucas Funeral Home (700 W Wall St, Grapevine, TX 76051). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (5312 Bransford Rd, Colleyville, TX 76034).
