We announce the death of Leta Louise Cato of Bedford, Texas, who passed away on August 14, 2026, at the age of 74. Leta will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Scott Mollard and Barbara Mollard; and her brother-in-law Jimmy Branch. She is survived by: her son Gregg Cato Jr. (Ellen Pepin-Cato) of Seattle; her grandson Henry Pepin-Cato; her daughter Stephanie Crownover (Jason Crownover); her grandson Grayson Crownover; her siblings, Carolyn Branch Mercer (Ike) of Brock, Texas, Cindy Garza (Jay Hamaker) of Austin, Texas and Larry Mollard (Oanh Nguyen) of Plano, Texas.; and her nieces and nephews, Kimberly Branch, Jennifer Gray (Dale), Rusty Branch (Kari) and Spencer Branch.
