He is survived by: his children, George Hernandez (Mary Lou) and Viola H. Garcia; his aunt Santos Castañeda; his sister Ramona Montemayor; and his grandchildren, Desiree Ramirez (Johnny III), Cody J. Hernandez, Brittany Gonzales (David), Julissa R. Martinez and Kaylee Rae Hernandez. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
