He is survived by: his close friend Catherine "Cathy" Carter; his children, David Gonzales, Jr., Asennet Gonzales, Angela Kelly (Forest) and Amy Villarreal (Rick); his sisters, Andrea Maes (David), Emma Gonzales and Sylvia Padilla (Frank); his grandchildren, Samantha "Sam", Andrew, Alexandria "Alex", Christian (Ciara), Victoria "Tori", Marc (Tori), Isabelle "Belle", Eric and Liliana "Lily"; his great grandchildren, Ryan, Colton and Olivia; his grandchildren, Crystan, Taylor and Samantha; Lupe Gonzales, Kenneth "Ken" Carter (Shannon), Stephanie Hodges (Andrew), Zoey, Heath and Alice.
