As Esmeralda departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Esmeralda. Though Esmeralda may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ysidro Benitez and Eloisa M. Benitez; and her sisters, Rafela Cuevas and Estella Benitez Rojas. She is survived by: her husband Antonio V. Trevino; her daughters, Diana Trevino (Fabian Pacheco) and Dena Hernandez (Lee); her sisters, Delia Madrigal, Santos Suniga (Joe) and Marcella Guerrero (Cruz); and her brother-in-law Porfidio Rojas.
