He was predeceased by: his parents, Olga Engeling (Blum) and Reverend Herman Engeling; his daughters, Amy Lynn Engeling and Angela Lynn Engeling; his siblings, Mary Ann Engeling Morrison (Lucian), Hermine Engeling Stoll (Marvin) and Karl Engeling; and his niece Sarah Stoll.

He is survived by: his wife Leisa Eileen Engeling (Kridler); his stepsons, Nicholas Graumann (Becky) and Travis Madsen; his daughter Kimberly Engeling-Saunders; his grandchildren, Shane Graumann, Nicole Graumann, Cienna Madsen and Cameron Saunders-Matthews; his great grandchildren, Analiea, Cruize and Oakly Graumann; and his sister-in-law Nathalie Engeling.
