He was predeceased by: his father Joe David Cox Sr.. He is survived by: his mother Sylvia Brown Cox; his children, Lita N. Cox and Dylan Cox; and his brothers, Joe Cox (Gloria) and Jeff D. Cox. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
