She was predeceased by: her parents, Emelia Windberg (Reitz) and Adolph Windberg; her husband John Elder of Karnes County; and her sisters, Dorothy Curtner, Alice Gill and Verna Hilliard.
She is survived by: her children, Phyllis Ronner (Jim) of Austin, Sid Elder (Shara) of Beeville, Reggie Elder (Angi) of Beeville, Brenda Henry (Thad) of Austin and Daniel Elder (Melissa) of Columbus, Ohio; and her sister Joyce Jones of Corpus Christi. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
