It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Philip Stambaugh of Beeville, Texas, born in Cleveland, Ohio, who passed away on March 29, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Ernest Dean Stambaugh and Vondella Pearl Stambaugh (Mills); and his siblings, Perry, Patrick Stambaugh and Phyllis Dajnowski.

He is survived by : his wife Elizabeth Stambaugh; his children, Jason Dean Stambaugh, James C. Puryear, Jessica E. Mercer (Adam) and Meghan A. Hernandez (Roger); his grandchildren, Joshua, Miles Stambaugh, Troy, Madyson, James D. Puryear, Willow and Carter Mercer; and his brother Ernest Stambaugh, Jr. (LeeEtta). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
