He is survived by: his wife Sylvia S. Gonzales; his children, Josie Renee Gonzales, Mary E. Rodriguez, Joe Anthony Garcia, Emily Ann Moreno and Joey Garcia; and his siblings, Juanita Rodriguez, Esmeralda Cantu and Roberto Gonzales. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Trevino Funeral Home (401 W Springer St, Beeville, TX 78102). A rosary was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (118 S Aransas St, Mathis, TX 78368). A burial was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 11:15 AM to 11:45 AM at 1021 Montana St, Mathis, TX 78368.
