He was predeceased by: his parents, Doyle Miles and Gladys May (Crites); his siblings, James May, George May, Judy Schauer and Ruth Mills; and his son Doyle May.

He is survived by: his wife Lou Adele May; his children, Alex May (Tonya) and Laura Miller (Myles); and his grandchildren, Miles May, Samuel May, Hannah Stein (Chance), Michael May (Sofia) and Alessandra Miller.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Galloway & Sons Funeral Home - Beeville (409 N Tyler St, Beeville, TX 78102). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church (106 E Cleveland St, Beeville, TX 78102). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at the Glenwood Cemetery.
