Santos Castaneda Obituary
We announce the death of Santos Castaneda (Beeville, Texas), who passed away on October 5, 2026, at the age of 90. Santos will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her husband Rudy Castaneda (Rudy); her children, Raul Castaneda and Laura Castaneda; her parents, Tomas Guerrrero and Barbara Guerrrero (Gonzales); and her siblings, Carolina Amador, Tomasa Hernandez, Teodora Cantu, Alejandra Arrisola, Jose Guerrero and Domingo Garza.
She is survived by: her children, Martha DelBosque (Gilbert), Joel Castaneda (Sandra), Rene Castaneda and Javier Castaneda (Sheila); her grandsons, J. T. Amador (Heather King), Eric Castaneda (Gina), Nathan Castaneda (Chanda), Thomas Lee Coffeen (Rickquel Cortez) and Matthew Coffeen (Mackinzie Delagarza); her stepgrandson Joshua Puerta (Tracy); her granddaughters, Priscilla Suarez, Rosalia Castaneda, Kimberly McInnis (Jared) and Christiella Castaneda (Tyler Carroll); and her stepgranddaughter Kristen Ramirez. She is also survived by 20 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Oak Park Memorial. A prayer will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Beeville Memorial Park Cemetery (59 S East St, Beeville, TX 78102).
