She is survived by: her children, Kevin Gill McCarthy (Elizabeth), Mary Frances Patterson (Kendell) and James Robert McCarthy; and her grandchildren, Jared Brooks Patterson (Christa), Ariana McCarthy, Alexa McCarthy and Amanda Garza (David Rendon).
