He was predeceased by: his parents, Cayetano Salinas and Otilia Salinas; his wife Maria Esther Salinas; and his former wife Lana Sullivan. He is survived by: his sister Emilia Roel; and his children, Luis Salinas II, Robert Salinas, Edy Salinas (Teresa), Esther Kana (Tim) and Patricia Miles (Pat). He is also survived by his 13 grandchildren, their spouses, his 23 spunky great-grandchildren, and his many nieces and nephews.
