Wayne Bunker wrote a sympathy message

“Melvin worked with me for many years. He had a great work ethic and a good sense of humor. He came to work early every morning with a smile on his face. He would give you the shirt off his back. We played a lot of golf together and I repaired a few broken shafts for him over the years. When my manager’s diesel truck wouldn’t start on a cold winter afternoon, Melvin rounded up a portable heater and some sheet plastic to thaw out the diesel engine so it would start. Wayne Bunker Fishkill, NY”
