She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Swinden and Lydia Swinden (Belcher); her husband James T. Shipp; and her siblings, Ernest Swinden, Ceburn J. Swinden, E. Dennis Swinden and Esther Walker.
She is survived by: her son Jerrell Shipp (Becky) of DeKalb, Texas; her nephew Ronald E. Walker (Merilee) of Austin, Texas; her niece Connie Swinden of Belton, Texas; her great-nephew Wayne Walker; and her great-nieces, Amy Flores and Melissa Walker. She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives and friends.
