He was predeceased by: his parents, C. B. Porter Scott and Dorothy Boren Scott; his daughter Marissa Louise Scott; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Scott Gregory (Ben), Tucker Banks and Jadyn Scott; and his great grandchildren, Rowan Gregory and Margot Gregory.
He is survived by: his wife Marca Mullican Scott; and his children, Justin Scott and Emily Scott Banks (Ron).
Visitation was held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Scanio Harper Funeral Home (3110 Airport Rd, Temple, TX 76504). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church (2109 W Avenue H, Temple, TX 76504).
