She was predeceased by: her parents, Master Sergeant Howard Taft (Retired) and Blanche Bledsoe Prince; her husband John Henry Shine Jr. of Spicewood, Texas.; her sons, John Howard (Raquel) of Justin, Texas, Robert Lee (Tracie) of Jarrell, Texas, Michael Alan of Austin, Texas, Steven Scott (Amy) of Troy, Texas and James Andrew (Melinda) of Liberty Hill, Texas.; and her brothers, Robert Dale Prince and Brig.
She is survived by: her sister Linda Lou Prince Etheredge of Temple, Texas.; her grandchildren, John Shine "JJ", Stephanie Snyder, Michael L. Shine, Alex Shine, Jacob Shine, Anthony Gonzales, Seth Shine and Akasha Rotella Shine; and her great grandchildren, Preston, Kinsey, Henry and Nora Snyder.
