He was predeceased by: his parents, James Harold Fohey and Angeline Amanda Fohey (Meyers); and his brother James Harold Fohey. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Fohey (Buchanan) of Belton; his children, Kristie Chute of South Bend, IN, Trisha Washburn (Mark) of Las Vegas, NV, Stephen Fohey of Willis and Garret Fohey of Temple; and his grandchildren, Jena LaPla (Dustin), Alexandra Reynolds (Brett), Benjamin Chute, Chad Washburn (Lisa), Rachel Crosby (Maxx), Ashley Romero (Manuel), Mitchell Dishongh, Chase Dishongh, Lochlan Fohey, Dalton Fohey and Seth Fohey. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Tunnel to Towers Foundation, Samaritan's Purse, Doctors Without Borders USA, or a local animal shelter or humane society.
