He was predeceased by: his parents, Bennie Pilkington and Florence Pilkington (O'Rear); and his siblings, Marvin, Lowell, Billy Joe Pilkington and Virgie Mosley.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Pilkington (Pat); his children, Michael Pilkington (Laurel) and Sheri Kasberg (Tim); and his grandchildren, Bailey Kasberg, Samuel Pilkington (Sammy), Lester Pilkington, McKinley Kasberg, Nathan Kasberg and McCray Kasberg.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 5th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dossman Funeral Home (2525 N Main St, Belton, TX 76513). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Belton Church of Christ (3003 N Main St, Belton, TX 76513). A burial was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 at the Rest Haven Cemetery.
