The memory of Tyler William Smith (Belton, Texas), born in Rockford, Illinois, who passed away on November 22, 2025 at the age of 67, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lee Smith and Audrey Taeubner (Jacobus); and his stepson Joshua Luke Bingham. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Diane Hill-Smith; his children, Slater Smith and Shannon Smith; his stepson David McCann (Sunny); his daughter-in-law Randi Bingham; his stepgrandchildren, Luke Bingham, Reese Bingham, Annelise McCann and Elora McCann; his sisters, Jennifer Burke (Peter Burke), Lisa Smith and Sue Hill (Smith); and his stepmother Rita Smith. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Summers Mill Retreat and Conference Center (7441 FM 1123, Belton, TX 76513). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
