He was predeceased by: his parents, Severo Leal and Jesusa Leal; and his brother Guadalupe Leal. He is survived by: his wife Hilda Laura Rodriguez Leal; his children, Elizabeth Ann Leal of Benavides, Texas, Ericka Patricia Leal (Tayler Robb) of Corpus Christi, Texas, David Alex Leal (Patricia) of Dallas, Texas and Raul Rodriguz of Hebbronville, Texas; and his grandchildren, Jayden Gonzalez and Jordyn Lynette Leal.
