She was predeceased by: her parents, Fidencio Canales and Celia Salinas; and her sisters, Maria Estella Canales, Celia Chapa and Idolina Galvan.
She is survived by: her husband Roel Sendejar; her daughters, Lydia Nelda Olivarez, Ena McFarland (Dale) and Melissa Jimenez (Juan); her grandchildren, Dr. Ashley Morales (Kristian), Josiah Jimenez and Noah Jimenez; and her children, Lucila and Roel. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
