He is survived by: his parents, Sammy Martinez and Viriginia Martinez; his wife Ruth Martinez; his children, Jeremiah, Joel, Janelle (Fabian) and Joakim Martinez; his grandchildren, Adelyn Martinez, Adaliah Martinez and Izael Garcia; his brother James Martinez; his mother-in-law Julia Chavez; and his siblings-in-law, Josefina Chavez and Jose Chavez Jr.. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the St. Margaret of Cortona Catholic Church (107 E 1st St, Big Lake, TX 76932). A rosary was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
