As David departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved David. Though David may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Richard McFarland and Laura Ross McFarland. He is survived by: his spouse Pat "Patty" Milsap McFarland; his children, Stacie McFarland Payne (Richard) and David Keith McFarland (Susie); his sister Jean Roy; his granddaughter Jessica Crim (Casey); his great grandchildren, Georgia and Memphis; his grandchild Cheyenne Croley (Chase); and his great grandchildren, Lawson Holmes and Denver Croley. He is also survived by two sister-in-laws, and several nieces and nephews.
