He is survived by: his daughters, Monica Hanson Hardy, Marci Hanson Smith and Cheyenne Hanson; his grandson James L. Hanson, Jr.; and his sister Lynn Hanson Bowen. He is also survived by his 10 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
