He was predeceased by: his parents, Lem Steelman and Marlene Steelman (Traylor); and his brothers, Bobby Earl Steelman and Ronnie Hugh Steelman. He is survived by: his wife Jane Steelman. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McWhorter Funeral Home (1074 TX-300, Gilmer, TX 75645). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Gladewater Memorial Park (4716 US-80, Big Sandy, TX 75755).
