He is survived by: his wife Sandra Hernandez of Snyder; his children, Mathew Ybarra (Lisa) of Snyder, Adam Hernandez, Jr. (Jessica) of San Angelo and Selena Karns; his siblings, Rudy Rivera, Ermes Rivera, Robert Rivera, Janie Fonseca, Jesse Hernandez, Liz Martinez, Frankie Hernadnez, Max Hernandez, Patsy Chavez and Joe Hernandez; and his grandchildren, Jeremiah, Mathew, Jr., Brooklyn, Zachary, Christian, Nehemiah and Lilliana.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Myers & Smith Chapel (301 E 24th St, Big Spring, TX 79720).
