It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Alan Matthies of Big Spring, Texas, who passed away on November 17, 2020, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Alan Matthies to show support.

He was predeceased by: his mother Nora Matthies; and his son Jeff Matthies. He is survived by: his wife Pam Matthies of Big Spring; his son Jimmy Matthies (Misty) of Big Spring; his grandchildren, Ely Matthies of Big Spring, Krislynn Matthies of Big Spring, EmmaMatthies of Big Spring and Andrew Ferry of Comfort; his father Herschell Matthies of Big Spring; and his sister Gale Menicke (Cash) of Seattle, WA. He is also survived by two nieces and one nephew.

In lieu of flowers family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society or Help Hope Live.
