He was predeceased by: his parents, Perry Luce and Georgia Luce (Moser); and his sister Dixie Bannister. He is survived by: his spouse Don Nell Luce (Lay); his children, D'Dee, Tommy Morris, Brandon (Leona Luce) and Donald Ray (Erin Johnson); his grandchildren, Morgan (Lydia Luce), Ashley Luce, Jennifer, Kristian Morris, Paike Morris (Galen Hodges), Nicol and Kelly Cothran; and his great grandchildren, Caroline, James, Ethan, Danny and Emma.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to the West Texas VA Healthcare System in Alvin's honor.
