Bentura leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Bentura’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. She was predeceased by: her parents, Francisca Bustillos Covarrubias and Desiderio Covarrubias; and her brother Ricardo Covarrubias. She is survived by: her son Miguel "Mike" Espinoza; and her sister Emma Grado. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Chapel.
