Carlos Castaneda Obituary

We announce the death of Carlos Castaneda (Big Spring, Texas), who passed away on June 29, 2026, at the age of 66. Carlos will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuela Galindo and Margarito Castaneda Sr.; his wives, Cindy Buck Castaneda and Angela Castaneda; his daughters, Tammera Dawn Castaneda, Carla Michelle Castaneda and Latasha Marie Rodriguez; and his siblings, Marylou Marquez, Guadalupe Loya, Anita "Nane" Gonzales, Roberto, Reyes "Pepay", Ernest "Ernie" and Raymond Castaneda.

He is survived by: his children, Mandolynn, Lauren Castaneda and Reyes Castaneda Jr.; and his siblings, Frances "Kika" Enriquez, Margarita "Margie" Rivas, Viola "Thambo" Castaneda, Joe "Yovi", Margarito "Lagy" Jr. and Martin Castaneda. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
