He was predeceased by: his wife Peggy Daratt Campbell; his parents, Charles Campbell, Sr. and Velma Gressett Campbell; his niece Leann Pesek; and his great-nephew Austin Josey.
He is survived by: his brother Charlie Campbell; his niece Nicole Prather; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Aaliyah, Josiyah and Aaron Josey.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Myers & Smith Funeral Home & Chapel (301 E 24th St, Big Spring, TX 79720).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society.
