He was predeceased by: his parents, Troy Bishop and Dolora Mae Gordon; his wife Barbara Gordon; and his siblings, Louise Gordon and Jerry Gordon.

He is survived by: his son Robert Gordon; his stepson Marvin McClanhan; and his brothers, Howard Gordon (Judy) of Snyder, Texas and Randy Gordon (Tina) of Snyder, Texas. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
