She was loved and cherished by many people including: her grandfather Hoyt Hallford; her friend Vernie; her grandparents, Gertrude Hallford (Johnson), Charles and Mary Altha Lancaster (Yancy); her parents, Mary Ann Lancaster (Hallford) and Teddy Hanford Lancaster; her brother Carl Wayne Lancaster; her brother-in-law James West; her son-in-law Daniel Olivas; her great grandchild Gabriel Cervantez; her great-great-grandparent Thomas Henry Johnson (Sarah Minerva); her husband Bruce; her children, Justin, Karla Olivas and Crystal Wilcox (Robert) of Big Spring, Texas.; her grandchildren, Brittnie, Brett, Kristopher, Jorden Cervantez of Big Spring and Andi Klinger (Doug) of Big Spring; her great grandchildren, Wyatt Edward Klinger, Dorian Grey Arevalo and Leo Wolfley; her siblings, Randy Fleet (Bonus), Donna Dugger of Big Spring, Janet Parnell and Elaine West of Big Spring; and also Carl Lancaster. She was also cherished by many cousins, nieces, nephews, 3 aunts, one uncle, and several great nieces and nephews.

Upon arriving in Big Spring Vernie's brother Carl Lancaster had Alzheimer so we took care of Carl his last 6 years.".
