He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilberto Olivarez and Elvira Olivarez; his siblings, Gilberto Olivarez Jr. and Gloria Diana Olivarez; and his daughters, Veronica Gonzales and Vanessa Swearingen.
He is survived by: his former wife Guadalupe Olivarez; his sons, Ernesto Olivarez Jr. and Edward Olivarez; his grandchildren, John Ernest Martinez, Devon Martinez and Jeremiah Swearingen; his great grandchild Lily Sastatia; and his siblings, Robert Olivarez, San Juanita Moyorga and Maricela Olivarez.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bean-Massey-Burge Funeral Home (2951 S Belt Line Rd, Grand Prairie, TX 75052). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A committal service was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Southland Memorial Park (1100 SW 3rd St, Grand Prairie, TX 75051).
