He was predeceased by : his parents, Jesus Loya and Flora Rodriguez Loya; his son Jesse Jr.; and his sisters, Maria Loya, Elvira Gander and Elidia Loya.

He is survived by : his wife Guadalupe C. Loya; his sons, Margarito Loya (Angela), Joe Loya (Priscilla) and Albert Loya (Marisa); his sisters, Linda Paredez and Georgia Viera; and his grandchildren, Joey Loya, Natalie Gomez, Albert Loya Jr., Raymond Loya, Josh Loya and Jeffery Loya. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
