She was predeceased by: her husband Santos Mendoza, Sr.; her sons, Andy Mendoza, Phillip Mendoza and Richard Mendoza; her parents, Nicolasa Alvarado and Thomas Arsiaga; her brothers, Trinidad Arsiaga and Margarito Alvarado; and her grandsons, Jacob Scott Marin, Phillip Mendoza, Jr., Jadon Reyes, Andon Olvera, Santos Mendoza III, Marcus Cervantes, Matthew Mendoza and Brent Marin.

She is survived by: her children, Janie Marin (Frank), Robert, Santos, Jr., Briana and Adrienne Mendoza. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; and 9 great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM at the Myers & Smith Funeral Home & Chapel (301 E 24th St, Big Spring, TX 79720). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 at 7:00 PM and on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 10:00 AM. A burial will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at the Mt. Olive Memorial Park (1701 TX-350, Big Spring, TX 79720).
