It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Lorece Avery (Big Spring, Texas), who passed away at the age of 95, on May 31, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Billy Ray Avery; her daughter Scherry Avery Carder (Doug); and her brothers, Lawrence Lowrance (Laura) and Billy Lloyd Mims (Kay). She is survived by: her daughters, Cindy Brown (Gary) and Rae Smith (Jeff); her grandchildren, Chris Carder (Lori Webb-Wentz), Misti Potter (Alan), Michael Brown (Kristin), Allison Gibbons-Brown (Michael), Avery Smith (Shelby), Robert Brown (Mykeli) and Steven Smith (Morie); and her sister-in-law Barbara Lowrance. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM at the Gilbreath Funeral Home (209 St Charles St, Stanton, TX 79782). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Trinity Memorial Park Peace Chapel (6900 US-87, Big Spring, TX 79720).
