She was predeceased by: her parents, Rafael Chavez and Tomasa Rocha Chavez; and her siblings, Camilo, Elias, Nate, Juan, Chon and Gavina.

She is survived by: her sister Tonia Podhirney. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Mary's honor.
