She was predeceased by: her husband Melvin Brown; her sister Lynda Roden; her parents, John McDonald Jr. and Ella Beatrice Compton Templeton; and her daughter Melissa Salzman.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kerre Knight (Shawn) and Jenna Roberts (Mike); her brother-in-law John Roden; and her grandchildren, Aaron Shaffer (Brooke), Marty Roberts (Lorena), Macy Roberts, Ryan Seright and Sasha Norton. She is also survived by three great grandchildren.
