He was predeceased by : his parents, Ocie Peacock Rowden and Charlie Rowden; his wife Mary Sue Rowden; and his stepsons, Randal Overby and Wallace Overby.

He is survived by : his children, Dana Rowden of Big Spring and Jimmy Rowden of Arkansas; his stepson Albert Overby (Shana) of Big Spring; and his sisters, Janice Pitts of Big Spring and Deborah Ebersole (George) of Big Spring. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren.
