It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Samuel Thomas Wood (Big Spring, Texas), who passed away on July 2, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon O. Wood, Sr. and Zelma O. Wood (Hardin); his siblings, Vernon O. Wood, Jr. and Evelyn Oneal; and his wife Carolyn Gean Glanton.
He is survived by: his daughters, Karen Wood Jones (Tom) and Melanie Wood Burkett (Craig); his grandchildren, Sami Jones Daniell (Shawn), Erin Walker (Matt) and Zachary Harrison (Mallory); his great grandchildren, Thomas Halterman, Albany Walker, Victoria Halterman, Jackson Walker, Wesson Harrison and Rowan Harrison; and his great great grandchild Camden Mosburg.
