Sandra Sams Hensley Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sandra Sams Hensley (Big Spring, Texas), who passed away on September 11, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Sandra shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Sandra farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wanda Butler Sams and Van Earl Sams. She is survived by: her husband Harold Leroy Hensley, Jr.; her daughters, Cathi Wisler (Del), Ceci Westmoreland and Cindy Caraway (Bill); and her brother Van Sams (Toni). She is also survived by seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren, one nephew and four nieces.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Lonestar Sanctuary for Animals or MD Anderson Cancer Center.
