It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Savannah Almazan of Big Spring, Texas, born in Bronte, Texas, who passed away on November 2, 2022, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Armilda Caperton (Looney) and Matthew Caperton; and her brother Matthew Goaooe, Jr.. She is survived by: her former husband Mel Almazan, Jr.; her children, Matthew Almazan, Anthony Almazan and Amanda Sturgeon of Big Spring; and her siblings, Janet Hickman and Mark Caperton. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
