Vaughn Harold Martin Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Vaughn Harold Martin of Big Spring, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 1, 2026 at the age of 91. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Vaughn Harold Martin to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Pascal and Addie Lou Martin (Waters); his grandson Derek Vaughn Churchwell; and his brother Hansel Martin. He is survived by: his wife Helen Irene Martin (Hamilton); his children, Deborah Churchwell (Dennis), Gary L. Martin (Mina), Vaughn Alan Martin (Lorri) and Scott Martin (Marie); his grandchildren, Justin Bristow, Chelsea Pearce (Phillip), Dustin Martin (Chelsea), Maegan Reitan (Jentry), Chance Martin (Theresa), Manda Kistler (Sean), Cameron Martin (Johanna), Britta Martin, Shayla Martin and Brody Martin; and his brother Fred Martin (Carol). He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 7th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church -BIG Spring (705 FM700, Big Spring, TX 79720).
