It is with sadness that the passing of Warren Vallette Bruce (Big Spring, Texas) is shared. Warren, born on July 21, 1946 in Russell, Arkansas, passed away on September 18, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Bruce (JW) and Sylvia Parrigin Bruce; his siblings, Billie, Zelma and Wayland; and his sibling-in-law Gayle.
He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Bruce; his stepsons, Michael and Tom Sawyer; his daughter Sylvia Renee Fanguy (Derek); and his siblings, Patsy Mae Cagle and Johnny Bruce. He is also survived by five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a wide circle of nieces, nephews, and friends.
If you'd like to honor Warren's memory, donations may be made to Midland Medical Lodge toward a new soft-serve ice cream machine for the residents—knowing Warren, he'd love nothing more than to treat the whole house to a massive swirl of chocolate syrup and sweetness. Donations to St. Jude Children's Hospital would also fill up his heart.
