He is survived by: his wife Linda Jean Deon; his children, Jeff (Dawn) and Sally (Doug); his grandchildren, Matthew Cavanaugh (Tina), Ashley Colin (Ernest), Miles Cavanaugh (Reba), Jamie Bearce (Cory) and Macy Cavanaugh (Wade Rogers); his great grandchildren, Jaxon, Brooxe, Mattix Cavanaugh, Shane, Tyler, Hailey Colin, Saige, Rory Cavanaugh and Larryana Rogers; and his siblings, Shirley Shirley, Garland'Sonny'Cavanaugh and Jack Cavanaugh. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
